Research Speed Dating

Venue: BAAL Conference 2016; Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
Date: September 1, 2016

What is it?

Possibly you are yet to experience speed dating for the first time, or you may have already. Come along and participate in the BAAL postgraduate research speed dating event. A quick-fire and sociable way to talk about your research project and meet with and learn from researchers with similar research interests. You’ll get the opportunity to describe and discuss different aspects of your research with a series of partners in strictly timed three and four minute chunks.
It’s fun! It’s informal! It’s academically stimulating!

Who’s it for?

Anyone who’s up for it. You’ll need to be actively engaged in a research project and be prepared to talk about it (fast)!
The project could be your PhD, whether it’s current or recently finished, or any specific project in which you’re engaged.

How to participate?

Please let us know in advance if you’d like to join so we have a rough idea of numbers, but if on the night you realised you’ve forgotten to do this still come along! For expression of interest and any inquiries on the event, please email Elvis Yevudey via yevudeye@aston.ac.uk.
